Active and Engaging Nanny Needed for Busy Toddler!

Location: Germantown, Tennessee, 38138

Pay: $24/hr for regular hours, 1.5x for all hours over 40 hours/week. 1 week paid vacation. Major holidays off with option to work smaller holidays if desired.

Start & Schedule: May 2025 Start.

Week 1 & 3: Tuesday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm, Saturday 8am-5pm (49 hours/week)

Week 2 & 4: Monday, Tuesday 7:30am-5:30pm (20 hours/week)

About the family: This loving family has a 19-month-old little girl who is full of energy! She is sweet, silly, and always on the move. They are seeking a nanny with experience navigating all aspects of toddlerhood, including diffusing tantrums, potty training, and engaging in age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development. The family encourages daily outings, starting with walks and trips to the park. As trust is built, outings will expand to museums, libraries, playdates, and more. Since they are new to the area, they welcome suggestions for activities and are happy to purchase memberships for places the nanny and child will visit regularly. A reliable vehicle is required for transporting the child. Responsibilities will be strictly child-related, including cleaning bottles and child dishes, tidying play areas, occasional child laundry, and meal preparation. The family follows a holistic lifestyle and maintains a strict diet for their child, which includes organic fruits, vegetables, meats, and specific dairy products. They ask that the nanny refrain from wearing perfume or scented lotions while in their home.The family has a friendly older dog who naps most of the day. The nanny may occasionally be asked to let the dog out into the fenced backyard. Their home is kept clean and tidy, with professional cleaners coming biweekly. Mom works in the medical field outside the home, while Dad works from his third-floor home office 2–3 days per week.
