About the family: This silly and active family has a 4.5-year-old girl, a 2.5-year-old boy, and a 3-month-old baby boy. The eldest attends preschool Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while the two littles are home with the nanny full time. A nanny car is available for school drop-off/pick-up and outings such as story time, parks, the pool, and museums. Duties include meal/snack/bottle prep, dishes used throughout the day, child laundry, and occasional grocery store runs. The ideal nanny will be communicative and comfortable voicing concerns or issues as they arise. The parents welcome open communication throughout the day and never want the nanny to feel like they are bothering them. Pictures of the children’s activities are highly encouraged! A desire to come up with creative activities and plan regular outings to keep the children engaged and having fun is a must. It’s important that the nanny be confident and firm in upholding boundaries with the children, ensuring they show respect and follow directions. Follow-through and consistency when it comes to consequences for misbehavior are very important to the family’s approach. This family practices religion, and the children will often talk about it. While they do not require the nanny to share their beliefs, they ask that the nanny refrain from questioning the children about religion at such a young age. Mutual respect on this matter is very important. They have one dog who will need potty breaks in the backyard and food/water refilled as needed. They are hoping to find a long-term fit to create a lasting relationship for many years to come. They have truly valued their previous nannies and consider them part of the family.
The family is looking for a nanny who is:
• Responsible and Dependable
• Creative and Engaging
• Experienced with Multiple Children
