About the family: This sweet family recently welcomed their first baby, a little boy who will be 4–5 months old at the start of the position. He is already on a great schedule, with a longer morning nap and shorter afternoon naps. The family is gently working on sleep habits and consistently offers the crib for naps, occasionally doing a contact nap when needed. They strongly prefer a gentle approach and are not comfortable with cry-it-out, so they are looking for a nanny who shares this philosophy. He is an incredibly happy baby who typically only cries when he is hungry, needs a diaper change, or needs to be burped. He is fed a combination of breastmilk and formula and takes very well to a bottle. He is currently at the sweetest stage of smiling, cooing, and giggling, and is a joy to be around! While he is not quite old enough for regular outings yet, the family encourages plenty of fresh air and outdoor time, and he especially enjoys daily stroller walks. As he gets older, they look forward to allowing age-appropriate outings such as trips to the library, zoo, museums, and other local activities.

The family also has a very friendly 6-year-old bulldog who is an important part of their family. He is very social and loves people, so they are looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys dogs and is comfortable having him around throughout the day. He is typically very excited for the first 10 minutes when someone arrives and then settles down and sleeps for most of the day. He will need to be let out for potty breaks every couple of hours and would ideally enjoy a daily walk.

This is a very outgoing, warm, and welcoming family who values kindness, inclusivity, and respect for others. They hope to find a nanny who shares these values and will help nurture their son into a kind, active, curious, and well-rounded young man. A nanny who speaks a second language and would enjoy introducing the baby to another language and culture would be a wonderful bonus!

The family is looking for a nanny who is:

• Patient & Nurturing

• Warm & Kind

• Communicative & Open
