About the family: This wonderful, busy family is looking forward to welcoming a long-term nanny into their home and lives! They have three older children—a 4 year old daughter and 6 and 8 year old sons—as well as a brand new baby who is just one month old. The two boys are in school full time, while their daughter attends school Monday–Thursday, and the baby will eventually be home with the nanny. If the nanny is interested, additional hours can be provided with date nights, assistance with after school activities and sports, etc. Both parents are currently on parental leave and are excited to thoughtfully and seamlessly integrate the right nanny into their family routine.

They are hoping to find an exceptionally experienced, career nanny who is looking for a long-term position and would love to grow alongside a family for many years. Their ideal candidate has a strong educational background in child development, teaching or classroom experience is a plus, and a proven history of successful, long-term nanny positions. Experience caring for multiple children across a wide age range—from newborn through early adolescence—is essential.

The family places a tremendous amount of value on trust, honesty, and integrity. They are looking for someone who can become a trusted partner in their home and feel confident that their children are in excellent hands. Open communication is important to them, but they also want their nanny to have the autonomy and confidence to take ownership of the role. A proactive, organized self-starter with a strong work ethic will thrive in this environment. They appreciate someone who anticipates what needs to be done, takes initiative, and helps keep the household and children's routines running smoothly with little to no direction needed.

With four children at different developmental stages, flexibility, patience, and excellent judgment are key. The family values a warm and nurturing approach while also believing in clear, consistent boundaries. Their older children respond particularly well to the principles of Dr. Becky’s parenting approach, with an emphasis on connection, emotional regulation, and respectful communication. Strong conflict-resolution skills will be especially important when working with the oldest child, who can experience some behavioral challenges. He responds well to clear expectations, positive reinforcement, and age-appropriate rewards for positive behavior.

The nanny will also play an important role in supporting the older children's education. The family is looking for someone who will be hands-on with homework, school projects, reading, and other age-appropriate academic responsibilities. A nanny with a genuine interest in learning and education would be a wonderful fit.

The role will primarily focus on the children, but the family would appreciate a nanny who is naturally willing to pitch in with light household support when needed. This may include tasks such as grocery shopping, helping keep children's areas organized, and assisting with the day-to-day details that keep a busy household running smoothly. The family will provide a vehicle for school drop-off and pick-up, outings, and after-school activities. Experience driving a Tesla would be a huge plus! Safety is extremely important to this family, and they are looking for someone who is safety-conscious, responsible, and attentive at all times. A clean background check and driving record are required.

The family also has two cats and would ideally love a nanny who is comfortable helping with their care, including administering medication (pill), daily litter box cleaning, and giving them treats.

Ultimately, this is an opportunity for an experienced nanny to become an integral and trusted member of a wonderful family. They are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, genuinely enjoys caring for children, communicates openly, and is excited about the possibility of building a lasting relationship with the family over many years.

The family is looking for a nanny who is:

• Calm & Firm

• Safety Conscious & Attentive

• Communicative & A Strong Work Ethic
