After-school Nanny Needed for Busy Family!
Location: Central Park, 80138
Pay/Benefits: $30-$34/hr commensurate with experience. 2 weeks paid vacation. 1 hour of paid sick time accrued per every 30 hours worked (max 48 hours/year). 9 paid holidays. Guaranteed 15-25 hours/week based on nanny preference.
Start & Schedule: August start. M-F 2:45pm-6pm, additional house management hours are flexible.
About the family: This busy and loving family has three children — an 8 year old boy, a 5 year old boy, and a 2.5 year old girl — who all attend school full-time within 10 minutes of their home. The nanny’s primary responsibilities will include school pickup, driving to activities, managing after-school routines, and creating a fun, structured, and supportive environment for the kids. The ideal candidate is playful and engaging, but also confident in setting boundaries, encouraging the children to complete homework, and supporting them in cleaning up after themselves. Someone who enjoys planning outings, coming up with creative activities, and staying fully present during the afternoon routine would thrive in this role. The children are social and truly enjoy spending time with their nanny!
For candidates interested in additional hours, the family can offer household management tasks such as grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry, errands, organizing, and general tidying to be completed prior to school pick up. Both parents work in the medical field and follow a predictable schedule, occasionally including weekends. They would love to find someone open to occasional weekend hours (planned well in advance) or full-day coverage when the kids are out of school — though this is not a requirement.
