About the family: This warm and welcoming family has a sweet, happy, and curious little girl who is almost 12 months old. She loves being held and snuggled, enjoys walks to the neighborhood park, and is happiest when she's exploring her toys and the world around her. They have been fortunate to have Grandma caring for their daughter during her first year, and while they are sad to see that chapter come to an end as she returns to work, they are excited to welcome a nanny into their lives and build a close, lasting relationship for years to come. They want their nanny to feel genuinely respected, appreciated, and supported, believing that open communication, kindness, and mutual trust are the foundation of a successful partnership. The position focuses exclusively on child-related responsibilities, allowing the nanny to devote their full attention to providing exceptional care. While the family is not currently seeking someone to drive their daughter, they encourage daily walks to nearby parks, outdoor exploration, and plenty of fresh air. Their ideal nanny has a background in early childhood education or child development and is passionate about fostering learning through age-appropriate play, reading, exploration, and meaningful everyday interactions. They hope to find someone who is excited to actively nurture their daughter's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while encouraging curiosity, confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. This family is very intentional about their daughter's health, safety, and overall well-being. They value a nanny who shares a thoughtful approach to healthy habits, takes reasonable precautions to help minimize the spread of illness, and communicates openly if they are feeling unwell or have been exposed to a contagious illness. While reliability is important, they also strongly believe that caregivers should prioritize their own health and never feel pressured to work while sick. To support this philosophy, the family is happy to offer additional paid sick time beyond the standard benefit so their nanny can recover fully when needed. Mom works outside the home in the medical field, and Dad works from home on Fridays from a dedicated home office. The family also has a small cat, though no pet care responsibilities are expected as part of the role.

The family is looking for a nanny who is:

• Loving & Patient

• Health & Safety Conscious

• Communicative & A Strong Critical Thinker
