Nanny and/or Household Manager Needed for Busy Family! *Sign on Bonus!*
Location: Black Forest, Colorado Springs , 80209
Pay: +/-$35/hr commensurate with experience. 1 week paid vacation. Paid holidays. Paid sick time. Guaranteed 20 hours/week. This generous family is willing to offer a sign on bonus for the right fit!
Start & Schedule: ASAP Start; flexible for the right fit. Option A: Tuesday/Thursday 11am-9pm (nanny+household manager)
Option B: 3 days/week with hours of your choosing between 8:30am-4:30pm (solely household manager)
About the family: This loving family has 3 children; a 10 year old boy, 8 year old boy, and 4 year old girl who are full of energy and personality! With a busy household, they value proactive and trustworthy help to ensure their home runs smoothly. They are searching for an extra set of hands, whether that be a dual nanny+household manager or solely a household manager. The family is experienced in working with nannies and values a collaborative relationship, giving you the trust and space to excel in your role. They have cleaners come to the home every week, creating an organized and clean work environments.
Childcare: The nanny is required to have previous experience working with complex children (ASD/ADHD) and able to handle behavioral challenges while juggling 3 children. Duties would include preparing meals/snacks for children, helping with homework, chores, and after-school routines, supporting positive social and emotional development, maintaining children’s areas and tidying after activities, de-escalating sibling conflicts and managing big emotions. The nanny will use their own reliable vehicle for transporting children to activities as needed. The children thrive with structure, positive reinforcement, and consistency. They benefit from the support of a confident caregiver skilled in managing their behavioral needs and fostering a nurturing environment.
Household management: The ideal candidate will be independent, reliable, proactive, and organized with excellent judgment and a service-oriented mindset. Duties include managing family laundry and dishes, tidying bedrooms and household spaces, preparing lunches and organizing children’s belongings, stocking and organizing pantry and household supplies, handling errands, light cleaning, and plant care, assisting with scheduling, calendar updates, and appointments, running errands, seasonal organization projects, and managing contractor appointments or household repairs.
CPR/first aid required. Preference is given to professional nannies with two years of full-time experience. At least one-year commitment required, ideally long-term nanny/family relationship.
