SSN Trace and Identity

Social Security Number Trace

Verifies that a candidate’s Social Security number is valid and is associated with the legal name given as well as returns a list of counties where the candidate has lived, worked, or conducted financial transactions. This trace also finds alias names that the candidate has used, including maiden names.

Criminal Records Searches

County Criminal Court Search - 7 Years - Up to 3 Counties

Searches county criminal court records to find convictions and pending cases (e.g., DUI, DWI, assault, theft, burglary). Searches the 3 most recent counties associated with the candidate during the past 7 years, including the county of candidate’s current address and up to two additional counties as identified by the SSN Trace using legal name only (aliases excluded). Within each county, the search will look back at least 7 years and return criminal misdemeanor and felony records associated with the candidate. Additional third-party pass-through fees and reporting restrictions, based on regulations, may apply.

Nationwide Criminal Databases Search

Searches 1,400+ criminal records sources for records associated with candidate’s legal name. Sources vary by state, but may include Department of Corrections, Administrative Office of the Courts, and county courts. Aliases excluded.

Sex Offender Registry Search

Searches sex offender registries across all 50 states and US territories for matches associated with the candidate’s legal name. Aliases excluded.

Motor Vehicle Records Search

Searches the state's official driving record source (typically DMV or DOT) to confirm if a driver's license is valid, provides the class of license and any driver restrictions (e.g. corrective lenses), and checks for any suspensions or driving-related violations. Additional third-party pass-through fees may apply.
